GoBalik Refund Policy
Effective Date: August 31, 2026
This Refund Policy governs payments made for GoBalik merchant subscriptions and forms part of the terms applicable to the use of GoBalik services.
By purchasing a GoBalik subscription, the Merchant acknowledges and agrees to the refund terms below.
1. Prepaid Subscriptions
All GoBalik subscriptions are prepaid.
GoBalik currently offers monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual subscription plans. Subscription fees are paid in advance for the selected subscription period.
Once a subscription payment has been successfully committed and the subscription period has commenced, the payment is considered final and non-refundable, except in the limited circumstances expressly described in this Refund Policy.
2. General No-Refund Policy
GoBalik does not provide refunds for:
Change of mind or failure to use the service;
Failure to use all or part of the subscription period;
Unused subscription days;
Cancellation or voluntary closure of a Merchant account;
Downgrading, changing, or no longer needing a subscription plan;
Promotional or discounted subscription purchases;
Business closure or cessation of operations;
Suspension, restriction, or termination resulting from a Merchant's violation of GoBalik's Terms and Conditions, Merchant Policy, Abuse Policy, or other applicable rules; or
Any other circumstance where the Merchant simply chooses not to continue using the service.
Unused subscription time does not have a cash value and is not eligible for a prorated refund.
3. No Prorated Refunds
GoBalik does not issue prorated refunds.
If a Merchant purchases a subscription and subsequently stops using GoBalik, the remaining unused subscription period will remain non-refundable.
The Merchant may continue using the service for the remainder of the paid subscription period, subject to GoBalik's applicable policies.
4. Duplicate or Erroneous Charges
A refund may be considered where a Merchant has been charged more than once for the same subscription due to a confirmed billing or system error.
Such cases are subject to verification by GoBalik.
If GoBalik confirms that a duplicate or erroneous charge occurred, the affected amount may be refunded in full. GoBalik will generally absorb applicable payment processing fees associated with an approved refund.
Refund requests for duplicate or erroneous charges must be submitted within 14 calendar days from the date of the transaction.
5. Failed Payments
A payment that appears unsuccessful to the Merchant but was nevertheless charged may be reviewed by GoBalik.
Depending on the status of the transaction and whether the funds were successfully received by GoBalik, GoBalik may, at its discretion:
Return the funds to the original payment method; or
Manually activate or credit the corresponding subscription to the Merchant's account.
The Merchant may be required to provide sufficient proof of payment to allow GoBalik to verify the transaction.
6. Service or System Errors
If a verified GoBalik system error materially prevents a Merchant from using a valid paid subscription, GoBalik may provide an extension of the affected subscription period rather than a monetary refund.
The length of any extension will depend on the nature and duration of the verified service disruption.
A system or technical issue does not automatically entitle a Merchant to a refund.
GoBalik may investigate the reported issue before determining an appropriate resolution.
7. Account Suspension or Termination
Subscription fees are non-refundable when a Merchant's account is suspended, restricted, or terminated due to the Merchant's violation of:
GoBalik's Terms and Conditions;
Merchant Policy;
Abuse Policy;
Applicable GoBalik rules or requirements; or
Any other agreement governing the Merchant's use of GoBalik.
Merchants are responsible for ensuring that their use of GoBalik remains compliant with all applicable requirements.
A suspension or termination resulting from Merchant conduct does not create an entitlement to a refund of unused subscription time.
8. Cancellation and Account Closure
A Merchant may choose to stop using GoBalik or close its account at any time.
However, cancellation, account closure, or voluntary discontinuation of the service does not entitle the Merchant to a refund of any remaining subscription period.
The subscription will remain valid until its applicable expiration date unless otherwise restricted or terminated under GoBalik's policies.
9. Subscription Expiration and Grace Period
GoBalik does not automatically renew subscriptions.
Merchants are responsible for renewing their subscriptions before expiration if they wish to continue using the service.
GoBalik may provide an expiration notification approximately seven (7) days before the subscription expires.
After expiration, GoBalik provides a five (5)-day grace period, subject to applicable account rules.
If a Merchant renews during the grace period, the days within the grace period may be counted against the existing subscription period. For example, if a Merchant renews on the fourth day of the grace period, the applicable renewal will account for the elapsed grace-period days.
Renewals may be made at any time by purchasing another subscription plan. The purchased period will be added according to GoBalik's applicable subscription rules.
10. Refund Request Requirements
Refund requests must be submitted through an official GoBalik support channel, such as:
GoBalik support ticket; or
Official GoBalik support email.
To allow GoBalik to properly investigate a request, the Merchant may be required to provide:
Billing statement or Statement of Account (SOA);
GoBalik transaction ID;
Payment receipt;
Screenshot or other relevant evidence of the transaction; and
Any other information reasonably required by GoBalik to verify the claim.
Incomplete requests may result in delays or may be rejected if GoBalik cannot sufficiently verify the transaction.
11. Refund Request Period
Eligible refund requests must generally be submitted within 14 calendar days from the relevant transaction date.
Requests submitted after this period may be declined unless GoBalik determines that exceptional circumstances justify further review.
Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval.
12. Investigation and Review
All refund requests are subject to verification and investigation.
GoBalik may review transaction records, payment records, subscription activity, system logs, account information, and other relevant information when determining whether a refund or other resolution is appropriate.
GoBalik reserves the right to deny requests that do not meet the requirements of this Refund Policy or cannot be sufficiently verified.
13. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, GoBalik will generally process the refund within up to fourteen (14) calendar days from approval, subject to the processing requirements and timelines of the applicable payment provider.
Refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method used for the transaction. Where returning funds through the original payment method is not possible or practical, GoBalik may use another appropriate refund method.
GoBalik will not deduct applicable payment processing fees from an approved refund unless otherwise required by the payment provider or applicable law.
14. No Refund for Non-Usage
The Merchant acknowledges that subscription fees are paid for access to GoBalik services during a defined subscription period, not based solely on the Merchant's actual frequency of use.
Accordingly, lack of usage, low usage, failure to activate features, failure to onboard customers, or failure to obtain expected business results does not constitute grounds for a refund.
15. Business Results and Merchant Expectations
GoBalik does not guarantee any particular level of sales, customer visits, revenue, retention, or other business results from the use of its services.
A Merchant's failure to achieve its expected business results does not constitute a valid basis for requesting a refund.
16. Exceptional Circumstances
GoBalik may, at its sole discretion, provide an alternative resolution in circumstances not specifically addressed in this Refund Policy.
Any exception granted by GoBalik in an individual case does not create an obligation to provide the same exception in future cases and does not modify this Refund Policy.
17. Finality of Refund Decisions
Refund decisions are made based on the applicable subscription terms, transaction records, system records, and information provided by the Merchant.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, GoBalik reserves the right to make the final determination regarding whether a refund or alternative resolution is warranted.
18. Policy Changes
GoBalik may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes to its services, subscription structure, payment processes, or applicable requirements.
The version of the Refund Policy in effect at the time of the relevant transaction will generally govern that transaction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
19. Contact
For questions or refund requests, Merchants may contact GoBalik through its official support channels or submit a support ticket through the GoBalik platform.
Important: Submission of a refund request does not suspend or extend the applicable subscription period unless GoBalik expressly confirms otherwise.
